Safety-critical equipment you cannot certify

  • Diving cylinders and regulators

Anything you do not own outright

  • Leased, financed or rented items
  • Employer property
  • Counterfeit goods

Digital and personal data

A note on grey areas

Plenty of legitimate rentals carry real risk — a table saw, a demolition hammer, a 24ft ladder. Those are allowed, and several are listed on this marketplace. What is expected of you as an owner is that the listing is honest about condition, that safety equipment is included where it matters, and that you decline a renter who clearly should not be using the tool. Several owners in the demo data do exactly that.

Seen something that should not be here? Find the listing and use the report link at the bottom of its page. See also the safety page and the community guidelines. Listing a prohibited item is a breach of the Terms of Service and can mean immediate removal.

This list is not exhaustive, and local law may prohibit things not named here. See all policy pages.
